LT Travel Destination #4: Turks & Caicos

Landscape image of turks and caicos islands

Have you heard of Jojo the dolphin? He’s an official national treasure known for voluntarily interacting with visitors around Grace Bay Beach. Just one of the many reasons to visit our last LT Travel Destination - Turks and Caicos!

This Caribbean archipelago of 40 islands is one of the most idyllic destinations and a frequent favorite of LT Women.

Put Turks & Caicos at the of your bucket list if you love water sports. Most of the activities here revolve around the water. City tours and shopping might be popular on other Caribbean islands, but here it’s all about the water.

“We scuba dive and all the spots around these islands are incredible.  My LT swimsuits have been my favorite to dive in. They don't move or rub or allow anything to fall out!” - Morgan

To Do

You can enjoy almost any watersport you can dream of on Turks & Caicos - snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, windsurfing and more. The water really is as brilliant blue and crystal clear as you've seen in photos so your best bet is to spend as much time in it as you can.

For snorkeling, we recommend Bight Reef and Smith’s Reef for incredible snorkeling just off the shore.

If you’re feeling more adventurous, try kiteboarding at Long Bay Beach. Or check out paddleboarding at Chalk Sound National Park.

To Eat

To really get a taste for the island vibe, don’t miss the weekly Fish Fry. You’ll find live music, local food, artisan shops and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The pineapple drinks are a must!

The islands are known for their fresh conch and there’s no better place to try it out than Coco BIstro. We’ve never tasted fish as fresh as we enjoyed here!

Da Conch Shack is a great pick for a more casual restaurant - jerk chicken, conch fritters and mahi mahi are menu favorites.

To Wear

Turks and Caicos definitely caters to a luxury crowd so pack our Lualoha cover-up so you’re ready for anything.

The triangle wrap top is great for its versatility. You’ll look stylish sipping a cocktail poolside and it also provides great support when you’re ready to swim or snorkel.

Pair it with our new French 75 bottoms for a classic, sporty look that shows just enough leg to look fabulous.
